Low profile neck for tight spaces.

This low-profile card reader pedestal is ideal for handicap actuatorpush plates, card readers, intercoms and other door opener devices. As a very cost effective steel pedestal in the industry, this small but useful stand is ideal for door opening applications where you cannot afford to have the full reach of a 13" gooseneck.

Its construction is strong. Made with heavy duty materials including rigid 11-gauge, 1/8" wall thick tube-- not flimsy sheet metal. Matter of fact, it's so strong our wind testing shows it will survive sustained Category 5 hurricane winds by tearing the concrete from the ground before it will bend or break- so don't worry about its ability to stand the test of time! And as it is with all Pedestal CEO stands, these pad mount intercom pedestals are washed in a phosphate solution to prevent rusting, then heat dried, coated with an outdoor TGIC polyester black wrinkle powder coat finish with UV protectant, and baked at 400°F for the most extreme weatherability. Finally, it's bottomed off with a sliding cover plate to hide the nuts and bolts used to mount the pedestal to concrete.

Installers appreciate such a basic post that can be used in such a wide variety of applications. This touch plate bollard pedestal is stocked in black wrinkle powder coating but is also available in safety yellow, white, or electrical gray colors as well as brushed aluminum or #4 stainless steel finish.
