It has 1.6 pcf polyester foam to protect the stored things from external impacts. Purge vent is made of gortex membrane to offer increased strength. Purge body and O-ring are made of polybutylene terephthalate and Buna-N, 50-60 durometer shore A materials respectively. Lid is featured with O-ring seal made of silicone sponge to keep dust and water out. It is engineered to meet carry-on regulations. It has a dimension of 22" X 17" X 8" internally and 24.6" X 19.7" X 8.6" externally. It can withstand a temperature range of -29 to 60 deg C.
