The surface probe is designed for flat or convex surface temperature measurements. It has an exposed ribbon to help permit direct contact with surface. The air/gas probe is specially designed to measure air or gases in heating and cooling units, ovens, and engine exhausts. The immersion probe is excellent for checking the temperature of water, oils, and noncorrosive fluids and gels. The beaded wire probe, for general-purpose temperature applications, is color-coded according to ANSI identification standards. The professional-grade carrying case features a customized foam insert built specifically to store and protect the included instruments.
