The 80G1E series furnace is ideal for new or replacement residential or commercial installations. These 80% efficient single stage natural gas ready forced air furnaces have a 33 in. tall cabinet, are available in upflow/horizontal models, and downflow models. The optional model 11K50 conversion kit is available for those needing to convert from natural gas to propane (LP gas). All units are classified for Category I venting and may be common vented with another gas appliance as allowed by the National Fuel Gas Code. Features include an electronic hot surface igniter for increased safety and efficiency, maintenance free 5-speed high efficiency permanently lubricated constant torque direct drive ECM blower motor. ECM motor lowers electrical power usage and improves A/C SEER rating. Built-in, high level self-diagnostics with fault code displays standard on integrated control module for reliable operation and simple troubleshooting. The heat exchanger is constructed of tubular aluminized steel with crimped non-welded construction. Units are factory assembled, wired and tested to assure safe, dependable, and economic installation and operation. NOTE: Requires 1/2 in. input to gas valve, dedicated circuit breaker, and 120-Volt wiring with proper polarity and ground. Not certified for mobile home use. It is recommended that the equipment should be sized, selected and installed by a qualified professional to ensure proper installation, safe operation, and adherence to federal, state and local codes and for valid warranty; see installation guide for more details. Does not meet California's South Coast Air Quality Management district low NOx requirements; not available for sale in CA. The unit comes with a standard 5 year limited warranty on parts and 20 year limited warranty on heat exchanger when installed in residential application. For commercial application limited warranty is 1 year on parts and 10 year on heat exchanger.
