The battery-powered actuator is controlled with a push button and doesn't use hydraulic fluid that can leak or need to be replaced. The tables must be pushed manually to move them from one place to another. The tables' scissor-style support frame lets their platform be raised or lowered to a wider range of heights than post-lift tables. The platform sits close to the ground when fully lowered, so heavy items don't need to be lifted far during loading and unloading. The tables have brakes or floor locks that can be engaged to prevent them from moving unexpectedly.
