Vial sets are an alternative to titer plates. These vial sets are pre-cleaned with grinding balls included. They come in sturdy carriers that have about the same footprint and height as deep-well titer plates, and fit the Geno/Grinder Clamp. Vials can be filled and sealed individually, and the larger vials can hold bigger samples than titer plates. Replacement vials and steel balls can be purchased separately.
2240-PC Pre-Cleaned 5 mL Polycarbonate Vial Set: Each set includes 24 pre-cleaned 2241-PC vials, each with a 3/8 in. (9.5 mm) steel grinding ball (2155). Ready to use, in a polyethylene carrier with foam vial holder. Carrier fits Geno/Grinder clamp; used in pairs. Grinding load per vial 1.5 mL. Vials can also be used with 2662 Cryo-Block or 2190 Vial Rack. Case of 10 sets, each set containing 24 vials pre-loaded with steel balls.
