Flourimeter Cell Cuvettes are the ideal choice for aligning samples. They have least three windows polished, contain no background fluorescence and work with any available sample volume while conforming to many different configurations.
Sub-micro cuvettes (type 16) are designed for very small measurements generally ranging from 10µl to 160µl. Sub­-micro cells retain the exterior dimensions of a standard cell. The entrance to the sample compartment is hemispherical, constructed without sharp corners to eliminate potential loss of sample from capillary action. The samples can be easily inserted and extracted from the cuvette, but the user must select the correct ‘Z’ dimension during pipetting, usually 8.5 or 15mm.
The amount of sample required to fill the sample chamber is reduced to the minimum, about fifteen to twenty percent greater than the absolute sample chamber volume. The sample compartment optimizes the alignment of the sample for maximum sensitivity in the spectrophotometer.
Cells are supplied with a PTFE cover to go along with a tight sealing polypropylene cap.Key Features
