Vials
All vials are manufactured from premium quality plastic which ensures consistent quality and performance. The streamlined straight sided vials are stable, stackable and save space in storage.
POLYPROPYLENE is optically clear, fle x ible and resists breakage. This container is ideal for use in harsh transport conditions or in pneumatic tube systems. There are graduation markings on three sides.
HIGH IMPACT STYRENE is opaque allowing for discrete specimen transport. The container is not fle x ible and will resist most forces to prevent cracking or splitting.
Leak. Buster specimen containers have passed DOT/ICAO/IATA 95k. Pa Pressure Differential and Thermal Shock requirements. Validation certificate available upon request.
Caps
All caps are designed with a full circle thread which prevents the cap from cross threading and leaking. The caps are available in three different designs to meet various transportation and budget needs. Various color options enable color coding for different applications. Two sizes available: standard 48mm and wide mouth 53mm.
“O-RING” cap is designed to grip the top and sides of the vial. The vial fits into the groove of the cap for additional contact, and a better seal.
LINED cap is manufactured with a polypulp liner coated with polyethylene. Due to the resilience of the lining material, it provides e x tra protection against leaks.
Quick. Turn is featured on the wide mouth 90ml and 120ml containers. This cap and vial combination has a double thread design which allows the cap to be securely affi x ed with only a quarter turn.
