The Techne 3Prime Thermal Cycler family provides the ultimate flexibility for PCR routines. They feature a color touchscreen interface for fast program set-up and a small, space-saving footprint. Choose from three models:
3Prime thermal cyclers are designed to accommodate the individual researcher and are available with either a 24 x 0.2 mL block, or an 18 x 0.5 mL block.
3PrimeX thermal cyclers have an expanded sample capacity, accommodating 48 x 0.2mL micro tubes or 30 x 0.5mL tubes plus half a 96-well plate in a horizontal format. These units can also be upgraded in the field to include gradient cycling capability (order gradient upgrade certificate EF12454G).
3PrimeG thermal cyclers come prebuilt with gradient capabilities across a temperature range from 30º to 80ºC (maximum gradient 14ºC). 48-well cycler EF12454E offers eight columns for annealing temperature optimization and six rows for optimizing reagents such as MgCl2 and primer concentrations. The built-in gradient calculator function displays temperature for each of the eight columns, ensuring easy replication of thermal conditions.
All units include a fast ramp rate of up to 3.0 ºC/second and data transfer via USB.Key Features
