All PCR plates are precision molded for optimal PCR performance and solid plate structure. Plate wells feature uniform, thin wall design ensuring rapid and consistent heat transfer. All plates are manufactured in an ISO class 8 cleanroom and undergo QC testing for PCR performance and the absence of contaminating factors. Every plate is visually inspected, and each well is electrostaticly tested to ensure integrity. Plates are made from high-quality, virgin polypropylene, and are certified free from RNase, DNase, endoto x in and human DNA.
Plate design includes side holes to aid in robotic handling when applicable, alpha-numeric grid referencing, cut away corners for easy orientation and all wells have raised rims, making them compatible with a variety of sealing options. Our plates are designed with industry standard dimensions and come in a variety of formats to fit thermal cyclers from most manufacturers.
