Automatic portable colorimeter

The AQ4000 features Auto-ID® which, when used in conjunction with Auto-Test™ cuvettes, automatically identifies the analyte, selects the method, wavelength and reaction timer without pushing a single button. Auto-ID ensures the reagent is matched to the method.
Unit allows the user to create a custom method with up to 5 data points and customize the calibration. Ten custom methods can be stored in the colorimeter's memory. The simple, easy-to-follow interface guides users through setup and measurement. Can store up to 189 pre-programmed methods. A simple upload procedure updates the colorimeter whenever new programs become available. Datalog 100 points in the field with a time and date tag and then download to a printer or computer in the lab. Accepts 13, 16 and 24 mm round cuvettes.
The Zero kit corrects for stray light, sample color or turbidity, or any other constituent that might affect absorption. Also corrects for internal reflection of light by container walls.
Powder Chemistry Packs (3077A09 to A31)

Chemistry packs contain precise amounts of reagent required for the test and are designed for ma x imum shelf life. Packaged for protection in sealed foil pouches. Each powder chemistry comes with enough packs for 100 tests. Methodologies are preprogrammed into the AQ4000. Also works with other well-known colorimeters.
Auto-Test cuvettes (3077A33 to A81)

• Allows automatic method setup

Sealed ampule contains precise pre-measured reagents and is coded to identify to the AQUAfast IV the species to be measured allowing it to automatically select the method and set the wavelength and reaction timer. The user never needs to touch a button. The cuvettes are opened only when a measurement is about to be taken; reagent quality is never an issue.
