The ECHOtherm Benchtop Chilling Incubator has a Peltier-based thermoelectric chilling and heating system that is highly energy efficient and environmentally friendly. A microprocessor controller and convection fan maintain consistent temperatures. An integrated self-diagnostic routine monitors the microprocessor. 
Power interrupt protection resets the unit to the previous program in the event of power failure. The unit will also shut down if it exceeds the minimum or maximum operating temperature. A clear plastic inner door allows isothermic sample viewing.
Non-Programmable models features a 4-digit LCD that can be changed from temperature to timer by pressing a button. An audible alarm will sound when timer reaches zero; user-programmed Auto-Off will turn unit off.
Programmable models can store three routines in memory for instant recall. Each program can have ten steps including a target temperature, temperature ramp, and run time. Run multiple “ramp and soak” cycles, or just one temperature at a given time. Set the “cycle” step to repeat programs up to 99 times. Units can run without programming as well. The two-line alphanumeric display shows 16 characters per line.
All models include a three-wire, detachable AC power cord. Models with 230 V, 50/60 Hz are CE-approved.
