Operation is very simple out of the box. Push the on/off button and the resident operating software self-boots. Set up data logging attributes including sample frequency, sample size, alarm settings, and units of measure through an intuitive touchscreen menu. The instrument can be placed in real-time mode or set to start logging at some future time. The instrument mounts on a wall using included bracket. A built-in stand allows the instrument to also be set on a horizontal surface. The temperature/RH sensor plugs directly onto the back of the tablet or can be positioned remotely with use of a 6 extension cable which is included. Additional 20250-47 extension cables, sold separately, can be linked to extend the sensor up to 18 from the instrument.
