These lightweight roller conveyor flow racks each have a bed of aluminum rollers set in a steel frame that installs into storage racks and pallet racks. The aluminum rollers weigh less than steel rollers, which makes these flow racks well suited for applications where the racks will be installed, removed, and reconfigured frequently. The steel frame provides good strength in warehousing, assembly picking, and inventory operations. Roller conveyor flow racks allow items to glide along the rack and provide support for items across the entire surface of the roller. The rollers are set high in the frame to allow items to flow along the rack, even if the width of the items is slightly wider than the width of the rollers. The smallest item on the conveyor should be supported by at least three rollers at all times. Flow rack conveyors have a narrow bed of skate wheels or rollers that allow cartons, totes, and other flat-bottomed items to glide along the rack.
