The UGT-M2PC300R exploits the latest M.2 SSD for Ultra-Fast RAID capability. The design uses a Gen 2 Hardware RAID Controller and the simplest Standard AHCI Drivers that are already built into all the major OS. This saves time and takes the worries of looking for updated drivers every time there is a major OS update. This RAID will offer very Fast Boot when configuring to boot Server, Workstation or Desktop System. The RAID offers auto rebuilding with a background or off-line capability. It is created to plug into PCIe x4 or better slot with support for PCI Express V3.0 Specs and compatible with V2.0/V1.0.
This RAID hardware design also helps offload task and reduce CPU resources. It is transparent to the OS, yet intimately link via the fast PCIe Bus, it is simple, manageable and Heat Management using Cooper Heat Spreader.
